Spirit Pairing and Culinary Experience Celebrating America's 250

Raise a glass to America’s 250th Anniversary and Father’s Day at a spirited pairing dinner celebrating the drinks that shaped a nation. From colonial rum to bold Maryland rye, discover how America’s history and its favorite spirits have always gone hand in hand.

The talented chefs at the Maryland Inn will prepare an unforgettable five-course dinner, with each dish expertly paired with rum and whiskey from Maryland distilleries.

Hosted by Ryan Lyles of Tipsy Bay Co, this is more than a dinner — it’s a spirited journey through the drinking history of Annapolis, Maryland, and America itself. Drawing on his experience in the whiskey industry, Ryan has carefully selected each pour to tell the story of the nation through its favorite spirits.

Travel back to the rum-soaked colonial taverns, the birth of American rye and bourbon, and the rise and fall of Maryland rye whiskey. Along the way, you’ll learn about each spirit and distillery, discover how these drinks shaped American history, and raise a glass to the future of American spirits.

We look forward to seeing you on June 18th at the Maryland Inn!
